To set up products for each type or class of membership you offer you might need the following products :

To set up membership products navigate to Settings, click Configuration, then Products.

Different membership levels require separate products when benefits vary.
For example, if Gold members receive more benefits than Silver members, create separate products so each member receives the correct entitlements.

Create enough membership products to support accurate reporting.
If you need to know how many members belong to each membership class, set up separate products for each type.

For memberships with restricted eligibility periods (e.g., Student Membership), set up dedicated products.
This helps you identify members who need to upgrade after their eligibility ends.

If a membership can include extras, such as joining a branch or group, set up products for those add-on options.
If you have many options (e.g., multiple branches), create a single Group Membership product and use membership extra fields to record the specific group or branch.

You do not need different products for monthly or annual payments.
Payment frequency is controlled by the Membership RPI, not the product.
For example, a single Individual Membership product can support both monthly and annual plans.

If members can choose their own payment amount (with or without a minimum), only one membership product is required.
Enter the chosen price when the membership is purchased.

Any membership can be gifted, so you do not need separate gift membership products.
