Q1: Why isn’t a new Fundraiser showing in the Fundraisers and Donate Buttons table?
Answer: A Fundraiser or Donate Button only appears in Donorfy after it has received its first donation.
Facebook does not supply information about a Fundraiser until the initial donation is made, so newly created Fundraisers may not appear straight away.
Q2: Why do I receive an error saying: “The checking process has found problems with this file – View Log for details.”
Answer: This issue is caused by missing URL links in older Facebook payment files, typically donations made in July 2018 or earlier.
This is not an issue with Donorfy. It is a limitation in the data provided by Facebook. When URL fields are missing, the Facebook integration cannot process these items.
How to resolve the issue
We recommend downloading two separate reports from Facebook:
1. File for donations from July 2018 or earlier
Copy the donation rows from the Facebook file.
Paste them into the Donations File Uploader in Donorfy.
Upload the file using the standard Donations File Uploader.
📌 Note: These donations will not appear in the Facebook Integration or the Fundraising Pages panel because the required Facebook metadata is missing.
2. File for donations from August 2018 onwards
These donations contain full dataset information.
Upload this file as normal into Integrations, Facebook Giving Tools.
