Constituents can be enrolled in dotdigital programs (sometimes referred to as Supporter Journeys) using Donorfy Triggers.

Add the Dotdigital Program Enrollment Action

  1. After creating the Trigger, add an Action.

  2. Select Dotdigital Program Enrollment from the available actions.

  3. In the configuration panel, choose a program from the dropdown list.

Program Availability

  • The dropdown displays all active programs for all connected Dotdigital accounts.

  • If your program doesn’t appear, ensure it is activated in Dotdigital.

How Enrolment Works

When the Trigger criteria are met:

  1. The constituent is enrolled into the selected Dotdigital program.

  2. Donorfy sends the constituent’s preferred email address to Dotdigital.

  3. The constituent is also added to the Dotdigital Address Book you selected during Dotdigital account setup.

Mapped Data Field Updates

When a constituent is enrolled:

  • All mapped data fields are updated in Dotdigital at the point of enrolment.

  • This ensures that your Dotdigital program (Supporter Journey) always has access to the most up-to-date Donorfy information.

Mappings include data fields, tags, purposes, channels, and any tag extra fields configured under the Dotdigital Mappings area.

⚠️Important: To access the Dotdigital integration you'll need to raise a support ticket.
