Required Fields on Forms
Donorfy Forms do not support required fields on most Form Elements. Only Contact Details and Communication Preferences include built-in required options.
Use an Activity Element to Capture Required Information
Add an Activity Element to your Form.
Create a custom field such as Read T&Cs? or Next of Kin Name.
Include this custom field within a question on your Form.
Add text to inform supporters that the field is required.
Report on Missing Required Information
Create a List filtered by the Activity Type you used in the Form.
Add a filter where the custom field (e.g., Read T&Cs?) is empty.
Use the List to identify supporters who did not provide the required details.
Follow Up with Supporters
Review the List of constituents missing required information.
Follow up manually by phone or email, or use a Triggers for automated follow-up.
When confirmation is received, attach the message to the Activity and edit the Activity to mark it as confirmed.
