Before Donorfy can submit Gift Aid claims to HMRC, your Gift Aid settings must be correctly configured and your HMRC credentials must be valid. You can test these details directly within Donorfy.
Test Your HMRC Sign-On Details in Donorfy
Navigate to Financial, select Gift Aid, click Settings.
Click Test Sign On.
Review the results displayed on screen.
Any errors will appear in a red message bar.
If errors are shown, review your HMRC username and password, then update them as required.
Check Your HMRC Account Configuration
To submit claims electronically, your HMRC account must include access to Charities Online, https://www.gov.uk/claim-gift-aid-online .
