Donorfy automatically submits your Gift Aid Claim each month, but this will not occur if key settings are disabled or if HMRC authentication details are incorrect. This article explains how to check and fix these issues.
Check the Gift Aid Submission Setting
Navigate to Financial, select Gift Aid, click Settings.
Locate the Submit Gift Aid Claims to HMRC setting.
If it is set to No, change it to Yes.
Once enabled:
Any existing pending claim in Ready to Claim can now be submitted.
If Ready to Claim is empty, move your Active Claim into Ready to Claim.
Test HMRC Authentication Details
If the setting is already set to Yes, the issue may be related to your HMRC credentials.
Navigate to Financial, select Gift Aid, click Settings.
Click Test Sign On.
Review the message displayed in the red bar if an error occurs.
