Q1: Is the Enthuse integration available to Essential users?
Answer: Yes. The Enthuse integration is included in the Essentials plan.

Q2: What happens to donations made in Enthuse before the integration start date?
Answer: Donations made before the start date are not imported automatically. If they are not already in Donorfy, you must download them from Enthuse and upload them using the File Uploader.

Q3: Can I change the integration start date?
Answer: Not from within Donorfy. You must raise a support request to change the start date.

Q4: Is the integration instant?
Answer: Almost. Timing depends on when the donor and donation were created in Enthuse. Automatic mode updates approximately every 15 minutes, or you can run it on demand.

Q5: Are Gift Aid Declarations added to Donorfy?
Answer: No. Signed Gift Aid Declarations remain in Enthuse and are not passed into Donorfy.

Q6: How is Gift Aid applied to Enthuse transactions?
Answer: Once Gift Aid is reclaimed by Enthuse, the Gift Aid amount is added to the original transaction in Donorfy and shown in the payment summary. You can report on this using the Gift Aid Amount Claimed field.

Q7: How are Enthuse fees calculated?
Answer: Fees depend on your Enthuse account type. Any processing fees related to a donation are added to the Processing Costs field on the transaction in Donorfy.

Q8: The connection to Enthuse failed. How do I fix this?
Answer: Double-check that the correct credentials are entered in Integrations, then Enthuse, then Settings. Ensure browser autofill has not altered any values.

Q9: Will changing integration settings update existing donations?
Answer: No. Changes do not apply retrospectively. Existing transactions must be updated manually or using the File Uploader. Deleted Enthuse transactions may be re-added if the integration is reset or re-run.

Q10: What dates are used for Enthuse transactions?
Answer: The payment date from Enthuse is used for both the Date Due and Account Date in Donorfy.

Q11: Does the integration include events?
Answer: Partially. Payments for events and registrant details are added to Donorfy. Additional event-specific details are not currently available due to API limitations.

Q12: Is the integration two-way?
Answer: No. Data flows only from Enthuse into Donorfy.

Q13: How do I turn the integration off?
Answer: Go to Integrations, then Enthuse, then Collect Data, and set Collect Data Automatically to No.

Q14: How far back do regular syncs check for payments?
Answer: Each regular sync checks for payments made within the last seven days.

Q15: Are regular donations added as recurring payments?
Answer: Not yet. Currently, only individual transaction details are received.

Q16: How are Enthuse codes used by Donorfy?
Answer: Custom codes are not available via the Enthuse API and are ignored. Default campaign settings are used instead.

Q17: An error appears saying β€œCan’t determine Fund ID”. How do I fix this?
Answer: One or more campaigns are missing a default fund. Add a default fund to any affected campaign. You can identify these using a campaign list filtered where Fund is empty.
