When a Constituent is added to Donorfy via the Online Fundraising integration, their Date of Birth (DOB) is not included. Online Fundraising does not currently support mapping DOB into Donorfy.
Why Date of Birth Is Not Imported
Online Fundraising does not pass Date of Birth as a standard field through the integration.
Because of this, Donorfy cannot automatically populate the DOB on the Constituent profile.
How to Add Date of Birth Manually or in Bulk
Although DOB is not supplied directly, you can calculate it using the Constituent’s National ID number (CPR).
CPR Format
The first six digits of the CPR represent the donor’s Date of Birth in the format:
ddmmyy
For example:
“120585xxxx” DOB = 12/05/85 (12 May 1985)
Adding DOB to Donorfy
You have two options:
Bulk update using the File Updater
Download the CPR data from Online Fundraising.
Extract the first 6 digits to calculate DOB.
Use the File Updater to add DOB to multiple Constituent profiles.
Manual update
Extract DOB from the CPR and enter it manually into each Constituent record.
