This integration is built and supported by Donorfy Partner Andi Best through the Charity Toolkit service. It removes the need for manual data exports and uploads, allowing donation and supporter information to flow seamlessly into Donorfy.
How the Integration Works
At scheduled intervals, the Charity Toolkit retrieves donation and appeal data from Access Charity Websites and sends it into Donorfy. Donorfy then processes the incoming information as follows:
Constituent Matching
Donorfy attempts to match the donor to an existing Constituent.
If no match is found, a new Constituent is created.Gift Aid Declarations
If the donor has opted into Gift Aid, their Gift Aid Declaration is added to their profile.
Communication Preferences are recorded in line with the donor’s consent.Donation Processing
Donations are added to the Constituent Timeline and mapped to the correct Campaign.
Any additional information, such as comments, is included for reporting via Lists.Cover Our Costs Support
If donors select a “Cover our costs” option, this appears as a separate Allocation in Donorfy.Activity Logging
Each data transfer generates a custom Activity on the Constituent Timeline, providing a clear audit trail showing:Successful imports.
Any errors or data issues detected during processing.
