Microsoft Power BI allows you to create visualisations and analyse your Donorfy data. Power BI Desktop is required to connect to Donorfy, and it is only available for Windows devices.
Power BI Desktop is free to use, but some advanced features require a subscription.

Power BI retrieves data via Donorfy Data Service, to use the feature you will need to find your System API Key.
You must have permission to use the Donorfy Data Service in your user profile.
Connect Power BI to the Donorfy Data Service
In Power BI Desktop, click Get Data.
Select OData Feed from the list of data source types.
Enter your OData link in the following format:
βhttps://data.donorfy.com/odata/<your API key>Example: If your API key is ABCDE12345, your link is:
βhttps://data.donorfy.com/odata/ABCDE12345When prompted to authenticate:
Select Basic on the left-hand side.
Enter your Donorfy username and password.
Under Select which level to apply these settings to, choose the longest URL option, which includes your full OData link containing the API key.
Click Connect to load the available Donorfy tables.
Work With Donorfy Data in Power BI
After connecting, you will see your Donorfy data source listed in Power BI.
Select the tables you want to use (e.g., Constituents, Transactions, Activities, Opportunities).
Load the tables and begin building:
Reports
Dashboards
Data models
Visual charts and summaries
Power BI will continue to reference your Donorfy data via the OData link.
