When a constituent has several potential duplicate records, these groups are displayed in the All Matches section. Each group contains all possible matches for a single constituent, allowing you to review and choose the correct target record before merging.

Understand All Matches

  • The All Matches section displays up to 10 duplicate sets per page, each showing how many potential duplicates are in the set.

  • When there are multiple possible matches, you must choose the target constituentโ€”the record that will be kept.

  • Click Start Resolving to open the list of potential matches for that constituent.

Choose Actions for Each Pair

Each pair of records in a duplicate set requires an action.

  • No action: Do not do anything with this pair for now.

  • Merge Right: Merge the duplicate into the target constituent. The target record is kept.

  • Not duplicates: Mark the pair as not duplicates. They will not be matched again in future checks.

Apply Actions to All Records in a Set

If all potential matches in a set are duplicates:

  1. Open the Select action for all dropdown.

  2. Choose the action you want to apply to the entire group.

  3. The chosen action will be applied automatically to every record in the set.

This prevents you from having to apply the same action manually to each row.

Preview and Confirm Your Actions

  1. When all actions are selected, click Preview and Update.

  2. Review the summary page showing all merge and non-duplicate actions that will be performed.

  3. Click Confirm to proceed or Cancel to return to the list and make changes.
