Within Donorfy your system administrator(s) can grant permissions to and restrict access at various levels. There are 3 main levels of user security permissions:
Viewer.
Standard.
Administrator.
Access Evo sync
Where your Donorfy account has been migrated to Access Evo, there is a sync of User Permissions between Donorfy and Access Evo to reflect the most recent User Permission setting.
Changes made within Donorfy to the User Permission will update the Member Role in Access Evo for Donorfy.
For example, if you change a user’s Standard permission to Administrator in Donorfy will update the Member Role to Admin.
Similarly, when a Member Role permission for Donorfy is updated in Access Evo, it will change the User Permissions within Donorfy.
Setting the Member Role for Donorfy within Access Evo to ‘No Access’ will disable the user’s account within Donorfy.
For details about managing Member Roles within Access Evo, please see here.
📌Note: If your Donorfy is a Professional or Enterprise plan then changing a Member Role for Donorfy to Standard from within Access Evo, then you will need to set the more specific permissions within Donorfy (see the Donorfy Professional and Enterprise plans section below).
Donorfy Professional and Entreprise Plans
These are the user permissions which can be set for charities and organisations who have a Professional or Enterprise Plan.
If you do not have a Professional or Enterprise Plan and require these more granular User Permissions, please contact us to find out more about upgrading your Donorfy plan to benefit from this feature.

Delete function.
Triggers.
Duplicates.
Security:
Inviting new users to your Donorfy.
Two-Factor Authentication control.
ChangeLog view on a constituent profile.

These are the user permissions which can be set if you have an Essentials or Starter Plan.
Viewer - this type of user account can view data - but not add, change or delete it - they can also be given access to other features and data
Standard - users can access all Donorfy functions except Configuration and functions related to users.
Administrator - access to all areas of your Donorfy.
Accessing User Permissions
User Permissions from the left-hand menu: Settings, then Users.
A list of all users for your Donorfy will be displayed along with their current permission level and their last signed in date.
To amend a user’s permission, click on the name of the user to open the user form - depending on the Donorfy Plan you will see different options (detailed above).
Select the user permissions as you deem necessary for their role and then save the changes.
Users whose user permission is Administrator have full access to all features by default, except the Data Service which can be enabled separately. Dashboard tile access can also be amended to suit the role needs.
