Update Date Format in Chrome or Edge

These steps apply to Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers.

  1. Open the browser language settings page.

  2. Add English (United Kingdom).

  3. If it is not already listed, move it to the top of the Preferred Languages list.

Changes apply automatically and do not require a browser restart.

  2. In the Language section, click Choose, then move English (United Kingdom) [en-gb] to the top or add it if missing.

  3. Click OK to confirm and apply the change.

  1. Open Safari, then click Safari in the top menu and select Preferences.

  2. On the General tab, select English (United Kingdom) from the Language dropdown.

  3. Close the Preferences window to apply the change.

Update Date Format in Internet Explorer

  2. On the General tab, click Languages, then select Set Language Preferences.

  3. Add English (United Kingdom) if required and move it to the top of the list.

  4. Close all settings windows to apply the change.
