his guide explains how to build a list of supporters who have updated their preferences using the self-service widget, and how to find supporters who have not submitted any updates.
Create a List of Communication Preference Updates
Follow these steps to build a list showing all recent communication preference changes:
Add a new Activity List.
Set a filter:
Activity Type equals Communication Preference Confirmation.
(Optional) To include only updates made directly by supporters, add another filter:
Entered By equals Self Service.
The Notes column in your list will display the specific changes made to Channels and Purposes.
Identify Constituents Who Have Not Updated Their Preferences
Once you have your list of supporters who have updated preferences:
Tag everyone in the list (e.g., with a tag such as PrefsUpdated).
Create a new Constituent List.
Filter to find constituents who do not have the tag you just created.
This second list shows everyone who has not yet updated their communication preferences.
