Why Unexpected Email Addresses Appear
When you forward an email to your Send to Donorfy email address, Donorfy scans the message to identify any email addresses that could be used to match a constituent. During this process, Donorfy may detect:
Text that resembles an email address but is not an actual address.
A valid email address included within the original message that is not relevant—for example:
Automated system sender addresses.
Tracking or transactional email addresses.
📌 Note: Donorfy cannot always distinguish which email addresses are meaningful to you, so all detected items are added to the review list for your confirmation.
What To Do With Irrelevant Items
Go to the Send to Donorfy review list.
Identify any items that you do not want to process.
Delete the unwanted entries to keep your list clean and accurate.
