Batched Transactions

Learn how to create and configure Batch Transactions to speed up payments.

If you have a number of transactions to enter you can enter them more quickly as a batch of transactions.

Access Batch Templates

  1. Go to Financial, then select Batched Transactions.

  2. Click the Batch Templates tab.

  3. Select an existing template or click Add Batch Template to create a new one.


Add Transaction to Batch

  1. Select your batch from the list of batches.

  2. Click Add Transactions to Batch.

  3. Search of an existing constituent or make the transaction anonymous.

  4. If you want to change the values already applied click Show Details.

  5. Click Save Changes.


Edit and configuration of Batches

To edit a transaction in batch:

  1. Click on the Transaction.

  2. Make the required changes.

  3. Click Save Changes.

Once your batch is complete:

  1. Navigate to the Manage menu.

  2. Click Post Batch.

The batch will be posted as a background task, and the transactions in the batch will be added to the constituents' timelines - once a batch is posted you can no longer edit or delete it.

Batches can be in one of the following statuses:

  • Open - you can add, edit or delete transactions in the batch.

  • Ready - the batch is ready to be posted - no further changes or additions are allowed - the batch will become closed when it has been posted.

  • Closed - the batch has been posted and no further changes or additions are allowed.
