Set the Date Received on a Donation

Learn how to correctly set the Date Received when entering past donations or transactions.

The Date Received ensures the donation reflects the actual day it was received, which helps maintain accurate giving history and reporting.

Update the Date Received on a Transaction

  1. Open the constituent’s Timeline and select the transaction you want to edit.

  2. Click the dropdown arrow to expand the transaction details.

  3. Locate the Date Received field.

  4. Enter the correct date the donation was actually received.

  5. Click Save Changes.
