Access the Danish Tax File
The Danish Tax Report is available from the financial reporting area.
Go to Financial, then click Tax File.
Review any previously generated files before continuing.
More information about the file format can be found here.
Configure Tax File Settings
Tax file configuration controls which data is included and how deductions are calculated.
Go to Financial, then click Tax File.
Select Settings.
Review and update the configuration sections as needed.
Configure General Organisation Details
The General section defines organisation-level information included in the tax file.
Enter your CVR/SE Number exactly as registered.
Enter the Name of sender as your organisation name.
Leave Last file number submitted unchanged unless instructed otherwise.
Select one or more Constituent type(s) to include in the report.
πNote: Only constituents matching the selected types are included in generated files.
Set Up Products for Tax Reporting
Each product included in the tax file must be configured individually.
Select the Product you want to include.
Choose the Relief type as Common or Continuous.
Enter the Non-tax deductible amount, if applicable.
Select the Calculation method for deductible amounts.
Per product calculation deducts the non-tax amount from each payment.
Cumulative calculation deducts the non-tax amount once from the total sum.
Validate CPR and CVR Numbers
Only transactions linked to valid CPR or CVR numbers are included in the tax file.
CPR Number Rules
Applies to individuals and non-group constituents.
Uses DDMMYY format in the first six digits.
Passes the Mod 11 check.
Contains exactly 10 characters with no spaces or dashes.
CVR Number Rules
Applies to group-type constituents such as organisations.
Contains exactly 8 characters.
The CPR validation runs automatically before a tax file is generated. You can also run it manually at any time.
πNote: After validation, constituents are tagged as CPR Valid or CPR Invalid.
Use CPR Tags for Review
CPR validation tags help identify constituents with valid or invalid identifiers.
Use the tags to build lists of valid or invalid CPR records.
Optionally display the CPR tag directly on constituent records.
To enable visibility, go to Settings, then click Configuration, then Constituent Types, and update the CPR tag category visibility.
Generate the Danish Tax File
You can generate multiple tax files for the same year.
Go to Financial, then click Tax File.
Select the required year, then click Build Report.
Each generation accounts for previously generated files from the same year and outputs only corrections or changes.
β οΈ Important: You must submit all generated tax files for a given year.
Download and Review Files
Once generation is complete, files are available on the same page.
Download the generated files for review.
Check both group and non-group constituent files.
Each file contains a maximum of 25,000 rows and should be reviewed before submission.
πNote: Open and edit tax files only in a simple text editor such as Notepad to preserve formatting.
Delete and Regenerate Files
You can restart the tax file process if needed.
Delete all generated tax files for the year.
Regenerate the files only if none have been submitted.
β οΈ Important: Submitted tax files cannot be deleted.
Add Submission Receipts
After submitting files to the tax authority, store the receipts for reference.
Upload or add the receipt to each submitted tax file.
Confirm the receipt is saved to prevent accidental deletion.
Receipts help track submissions and lock files from removal.
Configure FRADRAG Activity Fields
The FRADRAG activity type is used to record tax-related information.
Go to Settings, then click Configuration, then Activities, and select FRADRAG.
Add Year and Type under Text fields.
Add Amount under Number fields.
These fields appear on the constituent timeline for reference.
Review Constituent Activities
Once tax files are generated, activities are added automatically.
Each constituent receives two activities per tax year.
One activity records Common relief and one records Continuous relief.
These activities provide an audit trail of tax reporting for each constituent.
